Both the front and rear cameras support advanced HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology.

3 Parking Modes for 24/7 Protection

The A229 Pro supports three parking recording modes:

• Auto Event Detection with Buffered Recording – automatically records when motion or an event is detected and can save approximately 15 seconds before and 30 seconds after the detected event.

• Low Bitrate Recording – continuously records using smaller video files for longer parking surveillance.

• Time Lapse Recording – continuously records at a reduced frame rate to conserve memory card space.

A compatible VIOFO hardwire kit is included with this bundle, allowing the camera to use parking-mode functionality while maintaining a clean and professional installation.

Hands-Free Voice Control & Voice Notifications

The A229 Pro supports 12 voice commands, allowing you to control common camera functions without touching the dash cam.

Voice commands include functions such as:

GPS data can be reviewed together with the video using the VIOFO App or compatible computer software.

Loop Recording & Emergency Video Lock

The A229 Pro supports continuous loop recording.

When the memory card becomes full, the camera automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked footage with new recordings, allowing recording to continue without manually deleting files.

The built-in G-Sensor can detect impacts or sudden movement and automatically lock important video clips to help prevent them from being overwritten.

CPL Anti-Glare Filter Included

A CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter is included and installed on the front camera.

The CPL filter helps reduce:

• Windshield reflections

• Dashboard reflections

• Road glare

• Strong sunlight reflections

This can significantly improve image clarity, contrast, and overall video quality.

6-Meter Rear Camera Cable

The camera includes a standard 6-meter rear camera cable, suitable for most sedans, SUVs, and passenger vehicles.

Longer 8-meter or 10-meter cables may be required for certain large vehicles and are available separately.

The A229 Pro uses a high-quality supercapacitor instead of a traditional lithium battery.

This provides improved reliability, heat resistance, and lifespan, making the camera suitable for use in demanding automotive environments.

256GB Memory Card Included
